Boca Raton to Key West Ride

Boca Raton to Key West Ride
I am working on a good route from Boca to Key West. My plan is:
DAY 1: 110 - 125 mi
Leave 5 AM on A1A to Lauderdale. Then take 1 and try to get back along the coast as much as I can until I am South of Miami. From that point run Dixie Hway to Key Largo. Stay overnight around Platation Key.
Day 2: 75 - 90
Leave 6 AM:
Head to Key West
Any suggestions?

Consider doing the Smart Ride. Only downside is there is a hefty fund raising requirement.
