So, here it is: My new Leader 796R carbon frame with Leader fork, Leader stem, Cane Creek IS headset, Shimano DA group with compact crank, Specialized rib cages, Aliante Sport saddle (which I really like!...will move to a carbon/ti beast when it wears out), Voltaire's Thomson seatpost, FSA Wing Pro bars (aluminum), SRAM Force 11-26 cassette...and my Bontrager Race X Lite aero's in lieu of the DA wheels that I'm probably selling.
Side in nature:
Oblique back:
Oblique front:
Clean Drivetrain:
Fork, showing the 12K weave:
Obligatory Garage Door shot:
So far (only one 1/2 century to go on) I love the ride. The frame is much stiffer and responsive than my Alu w/ carbon stays/fork Litespeed. The frame is a little bigger and fits me much better. I haven't done any sustained cimbing yet, but the climbing I've done has seemed easier...which I attribute to a more efficient fit and power transfer...or because the bike looks faster.
Love it so far.

ps. I almost got Luwin's presentation down with the super-cool borders... focus still sucks, though...need to work on my camera settings.
pps. 1955: I built it myself, and the hardest part was setting the headset crown race on the fork....and getting the bar tape to wrap all the way to the tops on the wing bars.

I will post this though. For about the last 6 months my Cyfac laid dormant, after it donated it's vital organs to my S-Works. I finally got around to piecing it back together. I had some strap-on Fred bars on it last week, for a TT, I was happy to take them off today, and get some pics. I forgot how fun a stiff aluminum bike can be I'm probably going to be selling my older Roubaix Pro, and may swap the DA cranks and RD over to the Cyfac. Everything else on the Cyfac is already DA. I also have to say, I like the look and feel of the classic drop bars (instead of anatomic), it's the first time in about 3 years that I've used them. This bike will mostly be relegated to crit duty.

Hey OC, what brake pads are you using with your Reynolds wheels? I finally got around to getting tires for mine but I need to find brake pads. I tried King's and Surf City with no luck. I probably just get them on internet. That Cyfac is SWEET! How did your road race go?

You just have to be careful to pick out any aluminum slivers, or they'll put grooves in your CF rims.
I got 9th on the Boulevard course yesterday. I'm pretty happy with the result, considering how tough of a course that is, but of course now I'm playing "Monday morning quarterback", and kicking myself for not making a crucial bridge, when I was right there. I'll probably write a proper race report for this one.
