Yeah, if you needed it quickly, you're better off buying one like ya did... I don't have an exact time anyway ;) How was your ride today? |

So I guess you like the Zipp's then, eh? A set of 404 clinchers with powertap and now a tubular set. :) |

i dig the clincher zipps, once they spin up they bike doesn't want to stop. i highly recommend them. i've never ridden on tubbies before so this will be interesting. i don't even know how to glue tires to them...the lbs is gonna have to teach me this week. :p Check these ones out - http://www.lewracing.com/ I'm considering building up a set with the rims they sell since I couldn't afford to buy the built ones they sell. I've held these wheels at the local shop and yes, they do weigh in at just about 900 grams for the set. |

PITA. are the spokes j-bend or straight-pull at the hubs? |

are the spokes j-bend or straight-pull at the hubs? I have no idea, I didn't pay too close attention, when they handed me the wheels and told me how much they cost and they weighed so little I didn't want to look at them too long, I was worried I'd break them somehow. :o The guy who owns them asked if I wanted to try them. "Um, no, they cost 5500 dollars." "No worries, I got the no questioned asked replacement warranty for 4 years." "Um, no, they cost 5500 dollars." |
