right on!!!! that thing is the hotness! you should bring it out on the july HB century!

Purchased about $200 worth of DVDs and computer/nintendo DS games today... Robotech Protoculture Collection, Black Lagoon DVD 1, Planet Puzzle League, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, and STALKER.
And for cycling, i bought new Novara full fingered gloves (my old PI gel-lite's were falling apart), Cytomax Cool Citrus, Kool-Stop brake pads, and another patch kit. :D The only sad thing is my cycling the weekends and my bicycling commuting bearly leave me with much time to enjoy my ever growing stack of "To Be Watched" DVDs and "To Be Played" videogames... |

I already started a thread of it's own, but it's not official unless it's in the Shopping thread. Picked up this Iron Horse MTB so I can ride with my daughter, it's nothing special, but it has gotten us out together for a few hours already. My little girl is really digging the MTB like never before and I'm having a difficult time keeping up with her through the rough stuff. We go to a local area that's more like BMX than MTB but heck, she's only 10, but getting more fearless all the time.
Next time we go out I'll take some video of her. I also got a Garmin 305 recently and it works on my road bike and the MTB! http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...t333/MTB-1.jpg |

would of made the pic larger, but I am not only a noob to road biking, but I also in the noobhood when it comes to pic resizing.
I also got pedals and shoes for the bike. The sales guy at the store, talked me into a shoe that I can use for both my mountain bike and my road. I picked up some Sidi Dominator 5's and Crank Bros Eggbeaters. Im still on the fence on this one....he just kept insisting that I would not regret having some tread on my shoes when I do coffee shop runs. Time will tell I guess. |
Woohoo, just sent the final payment for my IroCycle group buy track frameset. :D And purchased a high flange 120mm fixed/free hub to make things easier later on when sourcing parts to build it up... Now just to slowly accumulate parts to make it complete.

Others on this site will not. Being able to walk is a big plus! |

However high end MTB shoes like the Sidi are also very stiff. After switching to road shoes recently I haven't found coffee shop walking to be much of a problem, but extended walking (e.g. if you have mechanical issues) would suck. |

Of course, I'm now using an Aliante Gamma because it had been a couple months since I bought anything for my bike. |

I've got a Brooks swift that I'm about to try. I've been meaning to try it for a while, but I've been lazy. That toupe saddle is just so attached to the bike, seems like a lot of work to replace it... |

I was watching, er.. observing how your sitbones came in contact with the saddle. Purely scientific, of course. Just trying to be helpful. |

Anyone knows any LBS in the westside LA or San Fernando Valley that has Campagnolo stuff in stock? Like a campy specialist of some sort?
