I encourage everyone to get one. The device has fantastic data, but there just isn't great end user software yet. The more people that have them, the more $$ they have to throw at software development.

... uhm... well... my Garmin was actually a gift.... but if I'd had to pay for it, it would be worth every penny ;)

I picked up an Assos FI.13 Bib and a jersey. Oh, and a wheel for the trainer.

Although not completely bike related, it will be my new hauler.;) I bought a new Honda Civic Hybrid. Serious gas mileage with this baby. Now Im working on selling my truck and the wifes 4runner and getting a Honda Element. Guess Im tired of contributing to the oil giants getting richer.

When are they going to make a hybrid Element. I would trade in either of our cars tomorrow for one of those.

I dont know. I wish they would too. I was impressed with the power of the Hybrids, and the V6 in the accord is pretty quick, although not as economical. But that motor in an Element would be ideal. I really like the Element for its practicality. So useful for my lifestyle. Actually decent gas mileage too, considering I drive a V8 truck right now. My wife seems to have taken over the civic already. Oh and we also got a $2500 tax credit also.:D

I now know that this is the most glaringly obvious sign from above/god/heaven/buddah/allah that I should just upgrade to this:

As previous posts on this thread suggested, I ordered from http://www.geomangear.com/ at a kick ass price.

Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week! :D

God, I've got to stay away from Surf City Cyclery :p I took my bike in for a couple of minor repairs/adjustments, and my old SL's with ~17,000 miles, needed a new cassette body and the rims were getting dangerously thin, so I left with a new pair of ES's:D

Have they given you a frequent buyer card yet?

Edited to add: Is that going to be your daily riding/training wheel?

jsigone 03-23-07 01:29 PM

J/K, my wife would feel inclined to match my bike spending, if I charged it all. One of the benefits of being self employed and having company checks ;)

jschen 03-23-07 02:06 PM

New wheels and tires for this Sunday, eh? :)
