They have a private label one called the Transformer but even the shop guy couldn't figure out how to pack it.

Anyone have some ideas?

I have a Canari windbreaker that folds into a fanny pack. I looked at their online catalog and I think it's the Eclipse. It's a pretty decent jacket.

I like the girl, but the jacket looks like a motorcycle jacket.

i got a new mini food processor to replace my hand blender! it's "bike related" cuz it allows me to make my ricotta desert which is less calories than ice cream and makes for a better bike rider!

yesterday i bought my wife a new bianchi san jose for a commuter/ all around fun bike. comes in friday so i'll post some pics then. it's a tiny 44cm, steel frame, canti brakes, track ends, really a cool design all for 600$. should be cool.

jsigone 10-04-06 09:54 AM

sounds like a good deal. I'm looking into finding a bike for my GF for Xmas, prolly in the same price range.
Maybe a Trek 1000.

My current tires had been sitting in storage for 3 years, and were looking a little brittle (esp the sidewalls), so I bought a new pair just to be safe: Vittoria Open Corsa EVO CX

Ive been thinking about this deal for tires, very durable too. They are normally around $50 each.

I've been getting my tires from Probikekit in the UK. Free shipping and duty free is total order is under $200. I've been getting the Vittoria Diamante Pro's (supposed to be better wearing than the Open Corsa's), but Open Corsa's are <$31 ea.

Good prices, the GP4000's came in at $31.31.

That's great. I may go buy one of those fancy bags that Voltman just bought.

Thanks Joshua!

BTW, Friday web/phone only 20% off performance sale too.

My Canon SD800 camera is supposed to arrive today. Getting a camera itch after seeing all the ride pics, and with a vacation on the way, it's a good excuse! I just hope it'll fit into my jersey pocket, unlike the old ones that I have (film slr/old canon g1 digicam).

Ok I did it....
I just ordered a custom built wheelset from Bicycle Johns...Nothing super incredible
Mavic OP w/Ultegra hub - new 12-27 cassette ( I cheaped out and went for the 105 instead of ultegra cassette, unless there is a really good reason to use the ultegra only a 50gr difference)will get a new chain...I am thinking if Sram or Whipperman with a powerlink...
new tires...I am going to try the Continental Gatorskins..I hear they are really good...

Just back from using my $20 off coupon at Perfromance. Winter gloves (liners), bottle cage, socks, smaller seat wedge, and some GU. Nothing too exciting. Did get some good sizing info for future purchases of long sleeve jersey/jacket and tights.

roadfix 10-06-06 05:09 PM

I just took advantage of Performance's 20% off web discount and ordered a CygoLite Dual Cross 300 headlight and a Blackburn full size frame pump. I figured it was about time I got a real set of headlights and a real pump!...:D

I am backing you up, we are both real slow cyclists. When are we getting our jerseys done? Maybe a parachute or something. What kind of truck do you have? Did you go get you rack?
