bummer. it is kinda sturdy but i expect to get my money's worth out of it but not confident it will last more than a year. i like it in the shower, though. i like most anything in the shower though... |

Nicely done, a white saddle would sure top things off well :)

Nice!

Nice! I have 20's w/center.
|
|
i've been wanting these (reference studios or signatures) for years and got a smokin' deal.
i'm looking at a subwoofer (gets down to 18hz) for less than $800 and a center channel now.... freakin' cc is almost as much as the sub.:p |
I'm not an audiophile, but I find their centers match the front pair quite nicely. I got my lesser studio center off of audiogon a while ago. It was much lower than stores in SD that wouldn't budge on the price (MSRP).
BTW, I guess my ear just sucks, because for my regular CD music I can't tell much difference w/ or w/o the cc. Only with multi-channel music and movies. :p |

i've seen that audiogon site....searching on it now. i'm going to step down one level for the sub...it still gets down to 18hz (lower than one of the reference level subs) but isn't a reference series....and save some $$$ to put into the cc. the cc will make all the difference and will be a reference studio model. |

:D It may take some time. I have the same finish as the ones that you got, but it seems like it's not a very popular color choice. It took me about a month or so to see a match.
When I was more into it, I've done some research and couldn't tell from auditions as well as online suggestions where you need to stick with the same series/brand for the sub. At the end, I never got one because of $ and my neighbors were already complaining enough about the Britney Spears music that I listen to. There (used to be?) discussions of subs on the Audioholics site. |

I guess that's good, but will your Aly & AJ CDs really sound better with a 18hz sub? Just sayin'.
they can't sing nor does their music have enough bass to matter...i doubt the sub driver would even move. :D i had to google them to know who you were talking about. they aren't 18 yet, are they? i probably shouldn't show them my avatar. |

My Slipstream team kit came in whoo hoo!
Now I have to go visit my tailor. The XS Bib shorts fit OK, but I'll have the top straps taken in. The jersey in a women's size "Small" is huge (they didn't have XS). That'll have to be taken in about 3" down the sides. The arm warmers and gloves are a size small, but they're just too big to work with. :( Anyone want Arygyle arms? |

You may be the first person ever to take a cycling kit to a tailor. Impressive.
Volty, they're the 2007 models. I'm not a big fan of the new style. And Jschen, not sure if they would fit you. Lengthwise they would be OK, but they are baggy on me and you have slender arms, too. Plus, they won't match your Assos kit! :p;) |
A friend of mine shops in the kids section. She's about 25.
