Oh, it did. I ended up unscrewing and removing the entire nose-piece assembly. I ended up ordering the Oakleys as I've been wanting them for a while now, and figured it was a good time to do so.

Is there a secret source for oakley bargains? Besides e-bay and steepandcheap, that is?

Let me know if your ear socks start to disintegrate after a couple months like mine.

Not that I know of. I have a car friend who knows someone who works at the headquarters in Foothill Ranch so I just go through him. But other than that, I've waited for shops like Incycle to have their big sale every year and it's like 20% off eyewear. Ebay is a decent source as well as long as the seller is trustworthy and not selling fakes or charging enormous shipping amounts.

The secret is to go to the swap meet and buy the $8 clones :p

The prices name brand sports sunglass manufacturers command for what are quite literally inexpensive to manufacture disposable items is appalling. Yes, they are better quality than the $8 swap meet variety, but 2000% better? No, not quite. Paying for quality makes sense for a durable item that you will keep for a long time, but plastic sports glasses are fragile and easily scratched whether they cost $8 or $160.

Awesome! I never seem to have much luck with knee warmers (staying in place), so I am looking forward to using these :)

Happytime 10-17-07 06:31 AM

+1 knickers = very nice. Very warm, too. At least the wimmin's version is. Altho I find the bottom openings a bit tight to go around my calves. I have to pull them up closer to my knee.

I bought a pretty decent mavic computer for the new bike and stunned a lil how fast I can get up to speed. We drove up to universal studios yesturday and the car got 32MPG which is pretty impressive for the 2.4liter.
