Nice Canyon. I have the Deda shallow drops on my Cyfac, I love how the classic bend looks, but I'm just not feelin' them, going to replace with anatomics.

I got tired of anatomic and needed something with less reach. What bars are you replacing your newtons with?

Ritchey WCS anatomic (alloy). I have big hands and, I can't get comfortable in the drops with the Deda shallows, maybe I'll trying rotating them a bit, before I give up on them.

I love all the room in the flat part of the drops with the Newton shallow bars, but they're not for everybody. If you like the Deda's consider the deep drop, Belgium style non-anatomic Newtons. Flatter on top, too.

Picked up a Spec Toupe 143 for $103 otd (on sale). White with black side and silver/grey-ish trim. I actually prefer a black one since it's more subtle and I think fits my bike better (matte silver C'dale); but cheap guys can't be choosers I guess, since no more black ones left in stock. :( It also comes with white bar tape, so maybe it'll look better once I swap them over.

Man, my newtons are so much stiffer than my racelite carbons. I'm glad I made the change!
