I had hot spots on my SIDI's, to the point where I would take of the shoes and pour water on my feet:eek: Then I chucked the stock SIDI insert and got these; http://planocycling.com/itemdetails....gId=39&id=4632 Now, NO hot foot, and much better power. The stock SIDI are a POS. $45 well spent! Be sure to go to a specialized dealer for the correct insert. I purchased mine at Surf City cyclery. |

Tiff,
I have virtually every pedal style (no eggbeater), so if you want to try other pedals out without buying them let me know. Mark, They did not have the Gavia in my size and these (Galibier) ended up being $60... |

I got the Superfeet insert...was ok...but still not good...I actually have custom orthotics I use now...still some issues...but I have been trying some cleat positioning adjustments and it was definitely better today...still need to ride some more with these new adjustments to see |

James let me borrow his Eggbeaters and I really liked them... think my plan for now is to get those. But I'll keep this in mind if they end up not working for me in the future! :) |

http://cgi.ebay.com/170mm-Campagnolo...QQcmdZViewItem Thanks for the heads up... however, I don't think I'll be able to get to it before the auction ends. :) |
