Just wondering to see how many ride on the dirt and how many bikes each own.
1 roadie Felt f90
1 MTB race bike, Litech Magnesium HT (21lb)
1 MTB full, Giant VT2 with 5" travel F/R (XL frame + plush = aka "cadillac")
1 MTB Dirt jumper, Trek Bruiser (fun bike)
Looking to build another bike, either a TT or a cyclocross.
Bikes are adictive

Stumpjumper M4 Pro hardtail. Just got back from a MTB trip in Canyonlands, UT. It was AWESOME. Some pushy people here have been bugging me for a ride report... just gotta go through a bazillion photos first.

Ride MTBs? Heck yeah, I MTB one day every weekend and Road ride the other. A group of friends are heading to Moab Oct. 13-17.
MTB- Canondale V3000
Road - '05 Fuji Team Issue
Tandem - GT something or other (anyone have any spare 700D tires )
Honorable mention - Couture criterium (that's me - I built frames in the early 80's, still have the first one I made)

Sweet pics, James - great rides, everyone!
I've been riding for almost 2 years now - nothing special - just your basic Specialized Hardrock to beat on a little. Wife has a matching one too, albeit smaller - she used it for a whopping 1 month last year before finding out she was pregnant, so after another two months it's been sitting (I took it for an occasional spin around the block just to keep the parts moving), and only 2 weeks ago did she get back on it.

Road bike is a 2002 Lemond Zurich but the bikes I ride most are:
2004 Stumpjumper M4 hardtail
and
2006 Stumpjumper FSR (replaced my 2002 Gary Fisher Sugar 3+)
* * *
Where do you all mostly ride? My favorite trails are in Limestone Canyon (Orange, CA), Fremont/Blind/Weir and up in Chino Hills. After work I generally do Peter's Canyon to Irvine Park to Weir Canyon. Sometimes but not often ride Laguna Coast Wilderness, El Moro and Aliso Woods.

Hmmm, when I do ride mtb, I ride Carbon Cyn (Chin Hills) and Claremont Wilderness Park. I was coming down CHWP at 24 mph after a rain. Hit a rut and flipped over the hb's into a bodyslam. Broke my helmet from back to front. Didn't feel any pain so I thougth I was dead. The pain did come a few minutes later when I realized I was bleeding all over the place. Broke out a crown too! Haven't had much interest in downhilling since then!
Bikes? Between Gina and I, we have:
98 Cannondale R800- upgraded to DA 9 (his)
05 Pilot 5.2 (hers)
84 Celeste green Bianchi (hers)
05 Lemond Tourmalet (his)
98 Burley Duet tandem (theirs)
87 Specialized Crossroads hybrid (hers)
04 Trek 8000 (his)
and two pair of rollerblades!
