Rode Ortega this weekend from Lake Elsinore to Caspers and back. Most of it is wide with enough room for bicycles on both sides. I don't ride like a bunghole and always use the turnouts so YMMV. The climb eastward is very gentle (2500 ft spread out over 15 miles or so).

From Caspers Wilderness Park to the I-5 freeway is seems sketchy. Lots of curves with speed limits mostly 50 mph or less. It doesn't seem to be a bike lane, too narrow.
