San Diego - SDBC Xmas/Toy Ride (Dec 16)
To those in San Diego and are interested, the SDBC (https://www.sdbc.org) has an Xmas/Toy ride this Saturday (Dec 16).
From what I remembered:
1) 8:30am gathering at UC Cyclery (UTC/La Jolla)
2) 50 miles loop ride at holiday pace, down to Mission Bay area (?) and back
3) Bring ~$15 toy and 2 non-perishable food items
What I don't know:
- The route
- Whether you need to carry the toy/food items with you during the ride
Otherwise I'm not too familiar with the details, so if you're interested you should contact SDBC directly. From their website, all I can gathered is this, which doesn't seem very useful:
https://www.sdbc.org/calendar/functio...&showCat=&oc=1

I'm only having butt pains from the saddle today; but then again, you ride waaay faster than me.
I'll most likely go for this ride. My usual rides are normally <30miles, so this will be a "long" training ride before my next century (Stagecoach).

thanks but I felt like I was playing catch up most of the day......then it took a while after I ate those two burritos to get back on the groove which was right about the time I hit Torrey Pines. I somehow managed to crank up that beast in 39x23
