MEET LOCATION: Encanto Park, 751 Encanto Pkwy, Duarte

MILEAGE: 62 roundtrip, Climb up Hwy 39 and Little GMR (GRR) and come back down Big GMR

ELEVATION: Approx. 6,500 ft

WATER STOPS: (2) East Fork on the way up and in Baldy Village.

FOR THOSE IN SHAPE AND DEDICATED RIDERS....(UNLIKE MYSELF)....CAN TAKE THE TREK TO THE SKI LIFTS. :(

I was going to tell Happytime and since you've decided to join her, you two can do a bit of attention grabbing sitting around that lodge by yourselves in lycra. That early you might be attracting mountain men and bikers though. All the hardcore cyclists I know usually go up a little later. (You know what they always want to go up early and I talk them into leaving later so I can sleep.)
