Yup, my wife & I remember someone drafting us thru Carpenteria & Summerland (tandems get that all the time). Normally, we have fun trying to drop the singles but, since this was her first century, I wanted to make sure she lasted the entire ride. We actually did pretty well on the climbs - much better than I expected. And the downhills were fun, too

Hehe... I think I'm decent myself, but I've fallen off the back of "fast training rides" at 35mph. I don't think Ovo has ever even been on a fast training ride.
