i think jpconrad mentioned stateline. That will put you about an hour past Baker but there are usually plenty of rooms there. If I do it I've got to go up that morning since I have a committment Saturday evening. I can make Baker in about two hours so I'll have to leave pretty early.

I called these yesterday and the first two still had rooms, probably cockroach infested, but I guess it beats sleeping in the dirt.

Yahoo weather says "hot. 90 degrees. Winds light and variable". Other than the "hot" part, that's pretty good. 80 would be better, but it probably won't hit 90 until the last hour or so.
