How will SART be Sunday?

After the rain? My friends and I are riding Anaheim to Solana Beach tomorrow, with the plan to leave the Amtrak station and head down SART to the coast. Will SART be okay to ride, or will it be cluttered with debris from the rain?

In my experience I've never had a problem the day after a rain. Maybe a few twigs here and there. Maybe a patch of dirt or sand here and there but not enough to ruin a ride. After big major rains some of the underpasses may be flooded forcing riders to cross the streets. But don't think that has been for a at least a couple of years.

Just remember, the day after rain, if the pavement is still wet, debree will stick to your tires more, so you should make sure your tire is clean from debree.

..........and bring more tubes than normal, as flat potential seems to increase 100% the day after a rain.

Sunday morning on sart: at PCH underpass, it was flooded. At Garden Grove Blvd, it was very muddy. At Edinger underpass, there was more than average debris.

Thanks. We were out there. Wasn't too bad from Anaheim down to PCH. I expected some gravel on the underpasses, but it wasn't too bad. Yes, did we see the underpass at PCH was flooded, and ended up riding the sidewalk to where we could get across to the southbound side of PCH to continue our trip.
