Didn't anybody tell you that when you got married, you didn't have to go through that step anymore to get to the good stuff?

My legs are very tight. I shouldn't have attempted a PB up Hawthorne Blvd. yesterday.

I don't wait to ride and sweat after waxing and shaving. You can pretty much get on it and get to it.

Copied from the what appears to be defunct 'What's Up' thread since this one seems to have won the upper hand and the long life:

So is this the place all the cool SoCal people are going to be for a while, because if it is I'll go ahead and say that I'm going to be in SoCal around Thanksgiving this year. Wife has already said she plans to get together with some of her old HS friends one day/evening/something and I'm free to meet up with a bunch of the SoCal'ers instead.

And now for more details:

Wife and I are going to be arriving either Saturday or Sunday before Thanksgiving, leaving most likely the Sunday after. Obviously lots of you will be traveling and/or busy with family, but I would love to get together with a group of you all for food, and hopefully maybe a ride too if I'm back in shape after my surgery this month.

ya'll would know that better than I. Perhaps a post-turkey day Friday ride? We haven't made our travel plans yet so our arrival / depart days haven't been set in stone yet.

Awesome, Cuda. I just found out today that I am staying in so cal for Thanksgiving...in lieu of driving up to Nor Cal and dealing with the holiday stress. Yippee! I'll be riding the whole time I'm sure...including day of.

I did my Tour de Poway prep ride and just like last year's prep ride, got lost near the Escondido Auto Park. Actually got lost twice near the Auto Park and once in Rancho Santa Fe.
