I'm a really bad skateboarder. I guess that's not a talent.

well, I can type pretty well.....way better than my handwriting. I do a nice job on the dinner dishes! I'm a pretty good dad, husband and friend.

Have written a nice batch of songs....recorded theme songs for a highly rated morning radio show now gone and did some appearances with the crew. (okay, so it was AM radio). Geez, was on the Gong Show one year with a friend of mine. We were one of the "straight" acts and won some money, a trophy and some car wax!

Being a Socal native, it was required that I learn to surf and sail and I still do both. (not saying I'm good at those things, just that I do them!)

I arrange music, and not just rewriting the horn part for my sax players. My wife doesn't like Baroque music, so I let her choose the song for her wedding processional (Something by the Beatles) and arranged it for a string quartet and solo trumpet. My other favorites are the jazz song Cute (Neal Hefti) for a jazz sextet, and Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring for organ, voice, and C trumpet. I'd like to make a freelance job out of it once I learn the legalities of copyright and make the connections.

I don't know if these could be misconstrued as talents, but I do have a lot of experience doing all of the following, +/- beers and 420 adjustments

All forms of mountaineering (ie rock and ice climbing)
Snow skiing as a pro-patroler in Germany and different resorts in the Sierra,
Surf related fun. (body, board and speed bumping)
Beer drinking...lived 95 clicks south of Munich for 5 years and trained very diligently for the Oktoberfest
Currently, I would say making overly cooked cyclists feel much better after an hour or two on my table (massage)

It was kinda a fun experience. Although we had to sit through rehearsals for 3 shows and spend the entire day at the studio. Thankfully, once the audience was brought in, we were on the first show to be taped. Once that one wrapped they shoved us out into the parking lot within minutes. It was like "thanks, boys, now get the h**out of here!"

I've always had a natural talent being a hobby poser since childhood. I've been into so many hobbies in the past where posing along with them was a big part.....and I did that very well and continue to do so today.

Yes, but can you hard boil an egg properly? THAT takes true talent. It's right up there with scrambling eggs and making chicken and dumplings well. I can do both if I put my mind to it.

Come to think of it, cooking is one of the best talents one can have.

Maybe not perfectly, but i can do it properly. I prefer making my eggs over easy.

I can cook but i don't usually advertise...

Um...no. I am not an egg ho. I do not enlist Betty in the process. I can boil that egg without her finger in the pot, thank you very much.

I love eggs over easy. There is this dish at my favorite breakfast place. They put two over easy eggs on a warm tortilla with chilis, mozzarella cheese, a chicken breast and an avocado. It comes with a side of black beans. You pour the beans and Chalupa on that baby, and you have one mighty fine breakfast.

Yes merider, but just beware that my form of massage sort of blurrs the edge between pain and pleasure But once you get used to it, most peeps end up saying...."can't you go a bit deeper"

I used to be really good at making babies. Cute ones, too. But no more.

Also, bass guitar...pretty good at that. Overpaying for car repairs. Copying Sam the Cooking Guy recipes to impress the neighbors, doing 'Catching Up' posts in the thread What's Up thread, procrastinating in my investing, and sponging up useless trivia.

Other than that, tantra, Kama Sutra, and deep tissue massage are on my to-do list.

No Neuschwanstein was further to the north. Where I lived was right on the German/Austrian border. The 36 Winter Olympics were held there.
