my new race rig
So I'm not worrying about crashing my Bianchi during races. Taking delivery tomorrow night, nothing too special. I'm trading straight up my Giant full suspension that I hardly ride for this
Performance brand Tirreno razza 2.0 with 105 groupo minus cheap cranks. Alum with CF stays and CF seat post and huge freaking saddle. Size is a 56cm with lots of spacers. The guys claims to have hardly riden it, sold his MTB then moved, got a roadie and it sat there. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...e/DSC00560.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...e/DSC00558.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...e/DSC00559.jpg |
Congrats!
So you'll get it once the current owner finish charging it up? ;):D |
Not a bad looking bike. Does this mean you will be mtb-less?:(
|

no I have my hardtail still. MTB races are starting in Feb at lake vail in Temec. Only 20 bucks!!! I'm going to doa few of those races too.
I only have the SS DJ and the Trailbike now, so I'm not sure what I would race on-but it sounds fun! |
yah so the bike stable will be 2 geared roadies, 1 SS roadie and 1 MTB....need to add a MTB SS in there and I'll be set:D

Looks like it can take a beating on the crit course! Good score, Jeff.
|
thanks, could aways swap the parts over to another frameset or even a CX setup in the future. I think this saddle will almost weigh as much as your Brooke but look only 5% as good LOL
|
so what's the secret weapon? I spy the battery charger. :p

Hi Jeff,
Nice! :) The front triangle looks suspiciously similar to my Quattro Assi: http://www.pbase.com/cleavel/image/6...9/original.jpg BTW, the frame is for sale -- 54 cm -- cheap. :D |
Looks close to it also similar to a fuji frame
|
How do you ride it on the road with the computer plugged into the wall?:D

Cleave thanks for posting a sale add in this special thred for js...
you sleezeer |
well I got the bike, it's a size 58 so bigger then I would have liked, same size as my old bike. Has 105 groupo but 9 speed:rolleyes: Doesn't matter too much i guess since I'll put a 11-23 gearing on the back. Its a bit heavier then my Bianchi, came with a 130mm stem:eek: Swapped the stem over to the Bianchi and put the 115stem on the beater bike. I dropped the spacers down to a single 1/8" spacer so I have to cut the remaining 2" off the rest of the steer tube. Looks like missile on top of the stem or something not of this world. I ditched the heavy red saddle and installed the one I had on my Felt for now.
Current plans is to have it my race bike then change the frameset out for something later, maybe a CX frame:D The guy was pretty happy with the bike he got, he's about an inch taller then me so it should fit him well. |
found out the cassatte is 12-23 with 72.5 cranks. Should make climbs a lil interesting. I'm gonna take it out after the game. I can't find my steer tube cutter though.........
