Update on Tour de Tucson cyclist/vehicle collision
Many of you may already be aware that on Nov. 22nd about 10 cyclists were sent to the hospital in Tucson after being hit by a hit-n-run driver. One is still in a medically induced coma nearly a month later. I received the following email as part of the Perimeter Cycling bulletin.
I don't know this gentleman but I do feel for him and his family especially at this particular time of year. I don't know if he's married or even has children but please at the very minimum keep in and his family in your prayers. This is a tough time of year to not have a husband, father, brother, son (combination of all or some) to share memories with during this holiday season.

Update on El Tour Cyclist Hit by Motorist
On November 22, El Tour Day, Gary Stuebe, was critically injured in the Ina Road collision at about the 59th mile point. Since that day, Gary has been in a medically induced coma. As of December 9, Gary still remains in critical condition in St Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
A fund has been set up in the name of Gary Stuebe at Bank of America for those who would like to support the family during these difficult times. You may make a contribution by going into any Bank of America in the United States and giving a donation to the Gary Stuebe Fund.
Click here for updates on Gary’s condition.
Once on this care page, enter the name "Gary". Please note that at times, it is difficult to get into this page, just keep trying. Cards or notes may be sent to:
