Phoenix area: any junkyards?

I am planning a budget build; kind of a challenge to see what cool components I can get for the lowest possible price. In addition to my thrift shop hunting and curb finds, I would love to dig through a pile of parts and do a little haggling.
Does anybody know of any bicycle junkyards in the Phoenix area? I live in a (far) west valley suburb, but I don't mind taking a day and travelling around to meet some new people and find some treasures. Thanks in advance!

Bike junkyards, I don't know about...but there are some bike coops.

There's also SteveBay (just search for it on Facebook) that is a local group where bikes and parts pop up all the time for relatively cheap.

If you're looking for next to nothing/free pricing, your best bet would probably be garage sales and craigslist (every now and then you find a bike hoarder that's ready to move some stuff).

Have you checked out the place in Rye?

Don't know about prices but it's impressive to look at as you drive by.

Thanks for the input! I am definitely planning on watching Craigslist and thrift stores/yard sales. That yard in rye looks amazing. It may be a while, but I'll definitely get around to checking it out.
