Bikes: Custom Stretched Stingray Chopper with Glowing Green Fur

Phoenix Phreaks Wintergreen Ride

Hey Ya'll,
The 4th Phoenix phreaks ride will be 01-19-08. We will meet at the
shopping center at Mckormick Parkway and Hayden just east of
intersection near McDonalds. We will be exploring the Scottsdale
Greenbelt and probably stopping somewhere for refreshment at a local
bar/resturant. I am told by a fellow Phreak that there is some really
scenic riding around here including lake and golf course views. Of
course all are welcome. Phreaky bikes and costumes are not required,
but highly encouraged.
What: Phoenix Phreaks Wintergreen Ride.
Where: Mckormick and Hayden just east near McDonalds.
When: 01-19-08 @ 3:00 PM
Why: Because it's nice enough to ride a bike in January in the Valley.
Important Information: It will likely be a little cold(hey it's
January) and we will likely be out till after dark, so be prepaired
for the weather and the dark. Because it will be a little cold we
will not want to stand around waiting too long so dont be late. Light
your bike Scottsdale Police have been known to give tickets for being
a darkwad(unlit bicycle), Headlights are required taillights optional.
More optional: You can get battery operated LED Christmas lights at
Wal-mart and now that Christmas is over they might even be on sale. I
found some there before for only $4.52 or something like that.
I hope to see you there,

Allan Greenblazer

Bikes: Custom stretched chopper and a Miyata street/Mtn hybrid

*ATTENTION ALL 2-WHEEL TROUBADOURS*

The Jan 19th "Wintergreen Ride" will be another great time sponsored by the infamous Phoenix Phreaks. The nearby Scottsdale Pavillions (within easy riding distance) has considerable entertainment to offer. For instance...

- Rock-and-Roll McDonald's Classic car show
Every Saturday 4:00pm to 8:30pm

- Fiddlesticks Fun Park
Go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages, miniature golf, video arcade
(Can you say Phreak golf challenge?)

- 5 and Diner 50's era cafe
Great American food, surly waitresses

- Several bars along the bike pathway to choose from...

GET OFF THAT SILLY VELCRO COUCH AND COME ON OUT!

Bikes: 2004 Nirve "So Cal Speedshop" by Chip Foose

Looks like I'm going to make it next weekend. Wouldn't want to miss this one, especially with Barrett-Jackson going on -- Mutual appreciation of wheels and welding!

See ya' there!
