Advice on a price
I am going to be selling our 2005 Cannondale Road tandem. It's a beautiful bike with a Trek computer and clip-in pedals. We've loved every mile on it and want to find it a good home.
What I don't know is what it is worth? It has around 10,000 miles, but was recently completely redone with new gears, chains, etc. Like new.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom

Tough to say, but I just traded my 2004 Trek T2000 with a stoker kit to my brother for a 2001 800cc Arctic Cat Mountain Cat. I now have a Burley PD for my daughter and I.
Where are you located? I have a buddy in Iowa who is looking to buy a used tandem..pm me.

Since there seems to be some interest, I guess I'll post more information here.
It is an "Extra Large"/"Small" with lots of range in the seat post. I'm 6'2" and had the seat up fairly high, so I'd say 5'9" and up and my wife is 5"1" and had the seat very low so I'd say 4'10" to at least 5'5" or 5'6".
It's in great shape but does have the scratches expected of a bike with over 9,000 miles. We had it completely refurbished at about 6,000 miles with all new parts, so it is in great working order. I've posted some pics at
www.scalesfamily.com/ebay/tandem.htm
I forgot to put it on, but I have a new bontrager suspension seat for the front that is included and it includes the rack and a 2 week old Cateye wireless computer. It also includes clipless pedals on the front and back (the combo pedals you can also ride with tennis shoes) and I'll include one pair of standard pedals if interested.
I'm leaning towards $1,400 plus $150 shipping. We're in the Orlando area.
The tech at our bike shop should be willing to talk to serious buyers if you have questions and an independent opinion. They'll help me ship it too.

OK, this is a little weird, and a longer story than any of you want to hear, but I have to hold on to the tandem for awhile. I'll post again when I can sell it. Sorry for the confusion.
