Help with a Burley
Posted this over on the mechanics forum, not getting much help. Thought I would try posting wher ethe tandem experts are.
Just got my Burley Bossa Nova back from the powder coaters and am starting reassembly. During disassembly I trashed the stoker bottom bracket which consists of a 17mm spindle, two 6203-2RS bearings, and a spacer. Spindle is fine, got replacement bearings, need a spacer. It was made of aluminum and fit tightly on the spindle and had a slit along its length. I'm guessing it was just a piece of tubing that was slit and forced to expand as it was pushed on the spindle. Anybody know what Burley used, have any experience with this or have other ideas what to use?
