GS road derailleur for tandem
Anyone using a Shimano GS road derailleur on the the rear instead of a Mountain rear? I realize Shimano officially rates the GS as having a 27 tooth max. Who is running a larger max cog? Thanks!

I've run an 11-32 IRD 10 speed cassette with a Shimano 105 long cage derailleur, and it shifted acceptably. (wasn't on a tandem however, fwiw)

I run a 29 on my 9 speed single with a 105 short cage. It is at it's very limit. Will a road GS go to 30,32,34
? Could that fix some of the problems people have with 10 speed IRD cassettes ?
