"Blind Stoker" Rides - the first step
While recently reviewing the Tandem Forum I was intrigued by a thread that spoke of rides organized to allow visually impaired and other disable individuals to ride as stoker. I posted and asked if there we any such rides in So Fla. Steve from the Trike Shop in Ft Laudedale pointed me to "Lighthouse of Broward."
Tonight I send off an email to the social worker at LHOB. I hope to get a relpy in the next day or two. I'm really excited about being able to share some weekend rides with individuals who might not otherwise be able to enjoy cycling.
