Storage solution
Along with the thrill of our first tandem (Mocha) came the problem of where to store it. Because we don't have an enclosed garage, and the weather here in the Northwest is moist to say the least, I decided to hang it with a pulley system in a closed "box." Here are a few photos of the almost completed project (minus the painting).

We live in a 3rd. floor, "one bedroom" apt. (no elevator), So all our bikes are on plastic rug runners in our bedroom!

We park our tandems in the living room. The garage can be wet in the winter and the house is more secure. Here is our system.
