Bikes: Lots of Tandems, see website

Free tandem hire

Charlotte's Tandems is a UK charity that lends tandems to disabled people for free. We have lots of tandems available and need more people to borrow them, so have a look at our website www.charlottestandems.weebly.com or Facebook Group.

Best wishes,

Alex

What a wonderful undertaking. Kudo's to you and your team. The stories/testimonials are heartwarming to say the least!

I'm in the US so can't help much but wish you all the best.

Thank you for your kind comments.

You could set up a similar organisation in your part of the US.

I'd love to build up a network of similar organisations in other countries, so let me know if you hear of any.

Alex & Chris, there is a (mostly quiet it seems) group which partners sighted pilots with blind stokers here in the U.S. https://bicyclingblind.org/ is their website.

Capt Haddock, thanks for the link to bicyclingblind - I'm going to look into that further. I did some rides years ago with some visually-impaired people and really enjoyed it. And, uh, love the username!

Alex your model intriguing to me. I'm not aware of any other/similar org's in other countries but will keep my ears open. The next several weeks of life over here are very busy but at some point near the end of the summer I'd like to touch base and learn a lil bit more about it.

Again thanks, best of luck, and will be in touch,
Chris
