Sciguy,
So sorry to hear about your property loss.

Btw, was it you riding to Fulshear last Sunday morning? I saw a rider in a Phillip66 jersey on a green Specialized Roubaix riding with another guy, but I didn't put it together until I had ridden a couple of hundred yards past going the opposite direction.

Indeed. I was riding with some guys from HandleBar - they were going much faster ahead of my friend and I. It was also my first ride in like 2 months so I was definitely out of shape for speed!

I was able to ride to work once this week, THP is clear which is nice. I should be able to ride more next week. Hoping to maybe ride tomorrow morning as well but we'll see.

The 2018 MS150 is finishing at Circuit of the Americas. That should be a great location. There will be plenty of parking and room for tents and entertaining. It's on the SE side of Austin, so Day Two should be a shorter ride too. I wonder if they will adjust the traditional routes to compensate. It doesn't offer the bars and restaurants that downtown does, but it should be a better spectator experience. Plus, getting trucks and buses in an out will be easier I imagine.

why the change?

also there is an MS150 thread somewhere in the texas forum too

And I swear that was the thread I posted to. I checked that thread this morning, didn't see my post and thought I was losing what little mind I had left. I have no idea how my post ended up in this one.

Technology, eh?
