You know how you find Texas don't you? Just go East till you smell cow manure and south till you step in it. And for my next number...

Texas is alright, but too durned hot for me. And I happen to think having Halloween year round isn't cool...Crimson is so much better than Burnt Orange...

Yeah, gotta love a university whose mascot is a cheater. Sooners where claim jumpers as I recall. Oh yeah, and where you pay your players and their relatives to not work. But, karma has a way of catching up with you, just ask Adrian Peterson.

Lived 7 years in Oklahoma, all the rest in Texas. There are good things to be said about Oklahoma, but overall I prefer Texas. The beer issue alone makes Oklahoma almost unihabitable. You may not have mentioned football, but you mention the school whose mascot is named after claim jumpers and the color of that school. Correct me if I am wrong but the state colors of Oklahoma are green and white, not Crimson.

Well, you have me there...

I'll say this, given Oklahoma or Texas, I consider Oklahoma the lesser of two evils. That being said, I don't really like either state enough to really go to bat for either...especially after the new Oklahoma Centennial song--oh so cheesy.

Many would not object if Texas did secede.
Then we could join OPEC.

Careful there, gents, don't make them mad, those Californians are known to invade. They run up property values, bring their liberal politics in and try to pass laws to protect people from themselves, raise taxes, pass gun control laws, then turn all the properties into rentals and move along

Remeber, the following is in jest:
You know why Texas doesn't float off into the Gulf?
'Cause Oklahoma sucks.
Actually I lived in OK only long enough to get out of Army Basic Training, but the countryside around Ft. Sill was kind of nice when I wasn't carrying an Alice pack through it.

Wow - I thought the US was part of Texas. Not the other way around. Learn something new everyday.

Texas may be the biggest state (lower 48) in terms of land mass, but California is by far the biggest in terms of population, being home to over 35 million people...

So you're saying that somehow by packing more people into less space you are better? I fail to see your point.

Why can't we just change it now. We're all voting for it.
