Mountain Bike Technical Skill Class?

Hello, I am a road guy so i can't help my brother in law. He has been mountain biking and has really gotten into it. However, he wanted to improve his technical skills.

Does anyone know of any classes or other options that could help him out? We live down in Houston, but i'm sure a weekend trip could be an option for him for the right cause.

thanks
