Giro coverage
I just found out last night that I get Universal Sports on my basic Houston Comcast package (channel 319). I figured I'd have to try and catch it online. Let's hope they don't cut off the ends of stages like VS did with the Tour of California. :-)
I thought today's TTT coverage was pretty good. I don't remember who the announcers were, but I thought they were good. Not Paul and Phil good, but better than the blonde headed guy they had on for the Tour last year.
(I was really pulling for Garmin though.

In Houston, Giro coverage is on 39-2 at 8 pm and 10 pm. 39-2 is one of those free digital stations you can get via an OTA setup. The feed from the Giro is not HDTV. Nice to get it for free.

I don't have cable/sattelite, and I recently hooked up my brand new converter box so I'm not left in the dark ages. Lo and behold, I now have channel 5.3 (universal sports), and I've been going home every day at lunch to watch the Giro. Awesome!
I hope they show Le Tour as well.
