Hell Week!
It's Saturday morning and the wind speed just hit 25+mph. I've been here doing the A rides since last Saturday (630 miles & 32,400 feet of climbing so far) and while I'm brain dead enough to get on the bike and ride, I'm thinking it might not be a good idea.
If you've never been down to the Fredericksburg area to ride you have no idea what you are missing. The roads are incredible, the climbs challenging and the people you meet are great. Not much else to say at this point, but you can read my blog for mild descriptions of the each day's ride. We did get rained out until late Tuesday so a shorty at only 45 miles... but what a week. Did I mention the hill climbing?

We went down for most of the week before Hell Week with our tandem. We rode for four days, of which three were in the rain. You can't keep a good thing down. We have good riding here in our area but what we don't have are lots of back roads and most of them paved. We go down for a week or so once or twice a year. I have never been there during Hell Week though.
