I left Tampa today. I stayed a little longer than expected, but I had an unsual time there to say the least. I rode only 70 miles today. The fact that it was hilly and I was going into a head wind the whole way, and I'm rusty from not biking for 4 days, made me retire early today. Yes, I did take a hotel that night, and it was good Mike.

70 miles sounds pretty good to me! Especially with a headwind.
There's a hill in Florida?
Keep us posted. Best of Luck to you.

I figure I could complete the circle of the S. FL tour crew with a comment. Glad to see you back on the road Shawn. I wonder how much time I'll spend on breaks as well. If I'll get out of it long enough to get out of a groove. But hey, maybe thats the point in the first place.
Good luck to you out there. It was nice riding with you. I'll make sure to check for your future posts when I can while on my trip. You do the same for me and we'll root each other on!

Peace and Tailwinds Buddy!

Dave
