It does have a M11..... serial number, but according to the catalog (thank you Velocivixen), it is a 2012.

I've been salivating about a LHT for quite awhile now, so I bought it. I'll try and post pictures when I get the bike.

My 2008 Karate Monkey has a 2007 serial number. It's common because they start building bikes so far out in advance of the model year actually being sold.

I struggled harder than I can say in trying to decided between an LHT and a Karate Monkey/Ogre/Troll and I'm still not sure I made the right choice. I love my KM but I've got this obsession with a 26" wheel bike with a lower bottom bracket that just won't go away so I probably will eventually pick up a 56cm 26" LHT in the future. If I had bought the LHT instead of the KM, the situation would be reversed and I would be struggling with my obsession for a Surly MTB.

Definately post pictures when you get the bike!

Is this really necessary?

WAIT. No, don't answer.

Just stop.

Go to the bottom of the mobile version of the site and click 'classic view' or whatever its called.
in the reply box of classic view, there are a bunch of icons above the text area. The 4th in from the right is a square. Click it- that's how pictures are loaded. You can then link them from a site like flickr or just upload them from your phone. uploading from your phone is easiest.
there are 2 tabs to choose from, make sure you choose to insert from computer. choose 'select files' and you will have access to your phones pictures. select the one you want and then confirm you want to upload it.

Thanks. I will try and work on this this weekend. My wife is a lot better at this sort of thing. I probably need her help.

My wife has not had a chance to try and post pics yet, but we will soon, I hope.

I have been cleared to ride again after having cataract surgery on both eyes this month. I took the LHT over to the bike shop and had a couple of adjustments made. Came home and got ready to ride. I live in Illinois, very near St. Louis. The temp was upper 40's, but I had to ride.

Wow! What a great bike! Comfortable on my back and neck The seat seems to be in the best place for my sit bones. I rode the 12 mile ride without bike shorts under my long pants. I know some of you do that all of the time, but I don't, so it was a great positive. The 26" tires are just fine. They're 26 x 2 Serfas Drifter FPS. I don't know a thing about them, but they rolled fine and fast enough for me.

I really don't know what more to say, but I am really happy with this bike.
