righto, well given that with a handlebar bag on my mtn bike was ok, yes the suspension of the front suspension fork did a bit more suspensiony stuff due to the weight of the bag, but it wasnt horrible or anything.
without knowing how your setup feels, I would hazard a guess that it would still feel ok.
only one way to find out though, thats to try it.

Hey Lee. I misspoke when I said I had the fattest tire on the rear of my bike. I had a 700x26 and am upgrading to a 700x28 or 700x32. The guy at the shop wasn't sure if a 700x32 would fit but I'll at least have the 700x28 on the rear.

I put run flat touring tubes in my tires as well. A little heavier but worth the weight. I have over 4000 miles on my bike and first time the tubes and tires have been changed. The guy was impressed that I'd never had a flat before in so many miles. I probably jinxed myself.
