IGNORE TY0604's POSTS.

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLL.

I'm not sure how responding to everyone is considered "trolling..." It's common courtesy to respond to post. If I could respond to everyone in one post I would but doesn't appear like there's a way to quote multiple people in one post instead of responding to each person separately. If there is way please share on how to do it. I don't like attention at all. Why does it matter to you how soon I reply? I get emails when someone replies and they come to my phone like a text. I'm on my phone a lot.

Funny you mention that though cause yesterday someone got upset when I took too long to reply. Can't please everyone!

It's a sad day when being courteous is considered "trolling" and "attention seeking."

In the lower right corner of the post feed are three icons: one says reply, the second reply with quote and the third has a quotation a
mark in a voice bubble with a plus sign. That is the multi quote button.

If you want to multi quote four posts for instance, hit the multi quote for the first three and the reply with quote for the fourth. That will capture all the posts. For two, hit multi quote for the first and reply with quote for the second etc...

Sweet! Thanks for explaining that to me. That was my biggest issue with this forum. Wish I had inquired about it sooner. Makes it so much easier!

Hey guys, I got a new bike....it's German and carbon.....no sorry it's actually English and titanium.......or it might be aluminum....I'm not sure, but I won't show you a nice clear picture of it.

Hit ignore for this guy. This thread is far better when you can't see what he writes.

I can't read the logos, but the bike looks like a Ti frame. It certainly has a good headset....I wonder if the "owner" knows the make of the headset........I wonder if the OP knows where he was when he took it? I have a good idea.

I showed you the only photo I have of it that my sisters and I aren't in. I'm sorry I don't keep an online album full of professional shots of my bike. I'll get on that.

Nor did I say the bike was new. I've had it for sometime. My Fuji Newest is Japanese and Compact Aluminum. The Maxx I had was German and Carbon. Yes, Fuji, although owned by an American company (ASI) is a Japanese brand. Never claimed to have an English made titanium bike either.

There's a photo posted a page or two back. You're misquoting me here as well. I never said my bike was $45,000. The $45,000 bike is the 6lb on Spin made for cyclist Gunter Mai. I am NOT Gunter Mai. I posted the link of Mai's bike because my 12lb bike is a tank compared to his 6lb bike. And my 18lb Fuji Newest is an airliner compared to both. Mine was $15,000 after all was said and done. I paid for part of it and ASI covered the rest. When you look at the photo you can make out the bottom of the word "Fuji" on the frame even with the glare.

I see that reading comprehension is at an all time low since half of the replies have nothing to do with what I said

We were in the UK when the photo was taken. Outside of Ebrington Arms in Gloucestershire if my memory serves me right. Beautiful B&B. The headset is from King and the stem from 3T I think. Again, I don't know a ton about bikes and I don't have the bike with me. Out of town until the 1st.

Ty,

I like to give the benefit of the doubt but hope you can see where some people may have a hard time accepting things as they are portrayed. Most of us have never met someone who has accomplished everything you have at such a tender age. Two degrees, one of which is in communications, traveled extensively including 4 long distance tours, running for a living, owning a very expensive bike, getting sponsorship for your efforts... Yet you don't have a website and are hesitant to show something visibly tangible about yourself, and all at the age of 23.

For some the numbers don't add up - at what age did you start post secondary education? For others the behaviors are suspect - People interested in Broadcasting, who get paid to run for a living and achieve sponsored events usually have a website or blog space. They, along with the sponsors, usually want public exposure. Broadcasting "types" usually want to be known. People who spend that much on a unique custom built bike usually take a lot of pictures.

I'm not saying it's not possible and if you are for real my hat is off to you but you can see, when linking all the claims together it does seem to paint a rather fantastical story.

The picture of the bike in Post #200 is claimed by the OP to be a German Gato made by Spin and weighing 12lbs.....this is obviously wrong. I have confirmed that it is an English titanium Spin Industries Lightning X-1 with the maker and one time owner. He actually took the picture and here's the original. Looks like a "SPIN" logo to me.....not "Fuji"

I also know where the bike is right now.....FYI it isn't the Pacific NW. I now propose Ty0604 is banned from the site and I'll ask the moderators to do just that.
The whole "Fuji" sponsorship thing was bizarre. The OP was never really malicious and maybe they just got caught in their own labyrinth of untruths. Still
it's probably best that they go.

Also a shout out to Spin Industries in the UK, excellent email response time, amazing wheels, frames and website.

Well, that is kind of sad. Adjusted the tint a bit to hide the logo and used the memory of where the pic it was taken right off the instagram site. Nun, how did you find it?
