@bmike Maybe you should try to find a thread to your liking. Do not come back to this thread. DO NOT post again in this thread.

All the best!

You might consider the copper spur 2. A little more money a little more wt. But if you are living out of you tent full time, a bigger more comfortable tent mught be worth it.

Good to hear Tim, let us know if it holds over the long term.

Thanks Doug, I don't want to continue that vein of discussion so I did not post publicly but to be fair to bmike I did PM him last night and say that when I suggested he was fully aware, I was actually thinking of another poster with a similar user name and thus, gave him the benefit of the doubt regarding knowledge of the ongoing nature of what we were discussing. I didn't report the thread as such.

For people who do struggle with posting styles I would really suggest googling Schizophrenia and ADHD negative symptoms and try to view those posts in light of that. It puts things into perspective.

I bought their Seedhouse SL2 a few years ago and recently picked up their Fly Creek UL2. The former need some repairs as I tripped on a small tree stump walking back from a nighttime bathroom visit back in June and bent one pole section and tore some of the mesh door away from the bottom of the tent body. Just haven't sent it back for repairs yet. I like the Seedhouse very much. I bought the Fly Creek on a whim. I have only used it two nights so I cannot offer much insight other than to say that if you are tall like I am (6'2") the Seedhouse might be easier to get in and out of. Also, the Fly Creek feels noticeably more delicate than the Seedhouse. Might not be the best choice if you are hard on stuff like I am. We shall see.

You may also want to wrap the part of the poles that fractured with strong fiberglass-reinforced tape to prevent a mistake like that from breaking other poles.
