Bicycle Brew Tour

Looking to do a craft beer brew tour this summer. I was thinking about maybe doing a 3 day ride or so that featured as many craft breweries as possible along the route. Living in the Pittsburgh are we are kinda spoiled as there are numerous breweries in the area that are all bike accessible. I'd like to venture out away from Pittsburgh, maybe out towards Philadelphia or the Finger Lakes region of NY. Has anybody done a ride like this? If so do you have any recommendations as to where I should go, what breweries I should visit.

if you can manage a cheap flight to europe.....you could try a
brewery tour in bavaria.

towns and villages spaced 5-10 km apart.
each town will have it's own small brewery for local consumption.
add in a pastry shop and............

Tour de Brew has one-day tours in various cities as a fund raiser for charity. Breweries and brew pubs are getting so commonplace in NC that you can find them in just about any decent sized city and many small ones.

Vermont has a craft brew punch card (Passport Card), you could cycle to all the micro- breweries and get the card punched & then get a t-shirt. Nice way to tour Vermont

Having lived in Colorado, it's a great state for brewery touring. They are everywhere.

Excellent Idea! Vermont is a small enough state to manage, with plenty of sobering hills. I might give the VT Passport Program a try for my summer vacation!
