45 is the width not the model, bluemel is the model and the make them in 53, 60, and 65 for 26”.
SKS has lots of fenders for 26” wheels https://www.rivbike.com/products/sks...er-fenders-p55 work fine and are very well made. a little finicky for installation with having to cut the stays to a given length in order to install the mount thingees (thingees are closed ended, not open, so one has to measure and cut the stays for your situation, for the end of the stay to seat into the thingees. Very technical term I know, but there you go. |

I have a pair of nearly 30 year old sks fenders that are still kicking, so the chromoplastic whatever material is pretty tough. I like how my silver sks look and certainly like how they are fairly lightweight. They are the ones on my Troll.

I recognize that lazy sheep who didn't give a rats patootee to get up off the road, he/ she is the one you took from ahead when you stopped right? nice lovely landscapes you guys rode through. but you might want to edit things, lest we think you come from one of those polygamist areas out west ;-) do a reread to see what on earth I'm kidding you about. safe riding and especially safe interactions with people during all the daily stuff. A friend of the son of a friend of ours was riding across Canada, sleeping in his tent, on the road all day, and still got covid, here where the vast vast majority of people understand the importance of following the simple basic guidelines to greatly reduce transmission. |

Have been going through my library. Cemetery in Lancaster County, PA, which is big Amish and Mennonite country. 2014 during a week-long trip from Vienna, OH to Philadelphia. Beautiful day. The previous day it had rained for more than 70 miles, stopping only when I close to my campground, or course.

The 127 between Tecopa Hot Springs and Baker, CA, Sept, 2019. The headwind was too strong to make it to Baker by sundown. I was in my granny gear on level ground, so I rolled off the highway and pitched my tent.
