Thru-axles & BOB Trailers?

I'm sure I understand this right... the new thru-axle designs thread into the frame as I understand. But how do the available BOB trailer conversion kits allow the use of a BOB if there's no QR skewer? Do the mounting "nubs" bolt to an eyelet in the frame?

Please do tell.

A Guess take the skewer apart and fit their spools on the dropout ..
any mechanical problem solving friends in K ville?

seems like Over-shopping for a touring Bike but it's Your Money..

Contact Bike Trailers | BOBgear say or this guy

NB if you had bought an Extrawheel trailer instead, Another Guy named Robert, figured it out for You..

Perhaps a Local Machine shop will do something ?

Probably no spare thru axle wheels in Mali or Senegal..

Just keeping my options open. Appears more and more bikes are now thru-axles.

Here only people who dont live here want any.. so touring cyclists Are hard up if they Break a wheel.

Ditto anything New and Campag, but there is a Bus to take to Portland where people do the trendy stuff.
