I am looking for a front rack for my All-City Space Horse. I would like to know what racks you use on your All-City Space Horse.

I had decided on the Ortlieb Duo, however, Ortlieb is currently out of stock. I also did not know if the rack would for sure work with the bicycle but I thought it likely would. My second choice is the Salsa Down Under Front Rack but again I am not sure if the rack will work. I am using the rack to carry a pair of Ortlieb Sport-Packer Plus's.

Your front fork need to have the correct geometry between the braze-ons for it to fit properly. I think the distance for the bottom to the mid fork braze on should be 155mm. And you need it bolt holes on the inside of the fork also.
When it is fitted properly its rock solid. I use it with Ortlieb front rollers, think they are 12L each, so only marginally smaller than the bags you have

Yes, Faiv Hoogar. It is designed to hang panniers as suspended weight. It mounts to the front fork crossover and slides attach to the fork downtubes. It is rare to see them in the U.S. but provide a great ride. The 1st picture shows their latest model, the 2nd is my bike with an older model.

Based on my experience with it, I would not recommend the Salsa Down Under rack.

I bought it just before doing the Great Divide last year, and it snapped halfway through the tour (actually it broke after I abandoned the Greate Divide route for pavement in Colorado... but I had already done the incredibly rough dirt/rock roads in New Mexico by that point with it.)

It's the only rack I've ever had a problem with.

I broke one of the Salsa Anything cages that was attached to my single wheel trailer while doing single track. A whole new learning curve for where the bike needs to be during cornering. Don't get me started on braking. Granted, I put a lot of energy into it when it failed, but I think it should have been able to take it. If the composite was more flexible, less brittle it might not need the epoxy repair it sporting since "The Incident". The bag took the whole event in stride, still looks good, and is water tight when rolled properly. Unfortunately, the guy at Salsa agreed with me that they held no responsibility in the failure. I might have worked that one wrong. When the epoxy cures I fully expect to be able to remount the cage, this time at the rear of the trailer.
