Ha, I forgot about this thread, and it grew like a weed. 😁 I just got some new Columbia sandals a few days ago, with Omni-Grip soles.
The soles actually have little tunnels, to let water flow through (?), and they're really comfy & light.
For pedals, I have some really old all metal (steel?) platforms, with platforms on both sides. They're not fancy looking, and no brand markings, but they spin like butter, even though I've never gotten them apart for servicing. They fit great too, for sandals, sneakers, or hiking boots. I figure why mess with a winner? 😎
Youse Aussies have some funny notions, about child molesters. I laughed pretty good when I read that. 😁
