Boston: Short Cape Cod overnighter
Anyone interested? It’s 85 miles from Plymouth to Provincetown and you can ride both ways or ferry back. Either camp overnight or stay in a hotel if you prefer. Tentatively May 17-19

FYI: There is a supported MS charity ride that is doing basically that route I think.

Yes, thank you for clarifying. This ride is self-contained or self-supported (if you want to stay at the hotel). Not a big fundraiser event, just a small group out for a weekend jaunt up the cape before the busy season starts.

Okay, let me explain this differently:
I’m taking the commuter rail to Kingston/Plymouth and camping at Myles Standish State Forest on Friday evening, May 17. This is optional but helpful if you want to have the whole following day (Saturday) to ride the 85ish miles to Provincetown.
Then you can either take a ferry back to Boston or ride back to Plymouth with me on Sunday.
If you can’t make it this month but want to do something like this, maybe I’ll do it again in the Fall sometime after Labor Day.

From: North of Boston
Bikes: Kona Dawg, Surly 1x1, Karate Monkey, Rockhopper, Crosscheck , Burley Runabout,
Rode from my house in Wilmington on a version of this. The bridge crossing was " sketchy" at best. Facing traffic on a raised sidewalk. Miles standish is nice too. Using the bike path I would assume? That service rd next to rt 6 was hilly if I recall. Good stuff. Ice cream shops right on the bike path too.

Looking forward to a ride report, and as they say, "Without pictures it didn't happen."
BTW, I see by your area code you are local in Metro Boston; I do a lot of riding in that area both North and South of Boston since I am in central Kenmore Square. FYA, check out this thread on the Northeast Regional Discussion Forum, Metro Boston: Good ride today; IMO, it is the de facto Boston Cycling Forum itself.
