Help a newbie out

Hi everyone,
I am new to cycling. My goal is to bike across my state (around 500 miles) next summer. I found a used bike on Craiglist, and I wanted your opinion on whether or not it is a good idea to buy it. The price is 550.

I cannot seem to post a picture or link of it as an attachment. So, I will quote the description of the page instead.

"Here is a 2017 Nashbar Touring bike. It is the same bike as the fuji touring and is very similar to a surly long haul trucker. I had it assembled and tuned up by my local bike shop and it has gone less than 200 miles in its lifetime. Bought it with the intention of doing some trips overseas that didn't come to fruition. Its an amazing solid steel bike with excellent components that deserves to be used/commuted with/traveled with. Its in excellent condition. will include saddle and pedals."

I know the bike. It sounds great!
True the wheels after a couple hundred miles . You'll be fine.
However, I've got no knowledge if it's a " good deal" but it's a pretty good touring bike, IMO.

Is it your size? Nothing worse than being stuck on an uncomfortable/ wrong sized bike. Good luck.
