gugie, I purchased a soft case from nlerner and I used a Dura-Ace 7400 headset with sealed bearings.
Fenders would be real tight with the 35mm in the rear and those flat bars should pack easily.

Here it is on my first big ride
I used a set of Deore LX cantis on the rear I used the original LX cable, but on the front I used an old brake cable for a straddle cable and a centerpull brake hanger so I can easily remove the handle bars. I had a problem with shifting to the large ring so I had to use a different ring with pins and ramps.

Very nice looking bike.

Getting mismatched parts to shift well with indexed triple shifters is something I avoid. On all the bikes I built up with triple cranks and mis-matched front derailleurs, I use friction shifters. That said, I think all my triples have ramps and pins on the middle and big rings. If you got an indexted from shifter to work well, congrats.

I see you got the cable splitters with the frame, I suspected that the seller did not think to include them.

Interesting little rack leg extenders. I do not think I have ever seen ones like that.

Was packing it in the case difficult?
