Public R16 At The Thrift

Rarely come on here and rarely find bikes anymore but I thought this was a good buy. It won't be for me, Not exactly sure on the model.

Bikes: 1961 Ideor, 1966 Perfekt 3 Speed AB Hub, 1994 Bridgestone MB-6, 2006 Airnimal Joey, 2009 Thorn Sherpa, 2013 Thorn Nomad MkII, 2015 VO Pass Hunter, 2017 Lynskey Backroad, 2017 Raleigh Gran Prix, 1980s Bianchi Mixte on a trainer. Others are now gone.

With that sticker on the inside of the left crank arm, I assume that it is brand new, or almost so.

An quick internet search found this:
https://publicbikes.com

Leather straps on the toe clips, I am guessing friction bar end shifters, square taper crank, that might have been in storage for a long time before it was donated.

Bikes: Foundry Chilkoot Ti W/Ultegra Di2, Salsa Timberjack Ti, Cinelli Mash Work RandoCross Fun Time Machine, 1x9 XT Parts Hybrid, Co-Motion Cascadia, Specialized Langster, Phil Wood Apple VeloXS Frame (w/DA 7400), R+M Supercharger2 Rohloff, Habanero Ti 26

Not really a touring bike but it is a bike and if gotten cheap at a thrift store could be a starter bike for someone. Certainly doesn't look heavily abused which is good.

And yes it is a commuter.......very light touring.....the bike can accommodate weight. Bikes are hard to find on the fly anymore and without crazy pricing so......the bike would not work for me.....

no wear on the chainrings, the stupid reflectors are still on the spokes, no scratches from straps rubbing on the crankarms.

I don't see a link to the thrift store where the bike was/is. Failing that:

Price? Location?
