Does anyone know why Bruce Gordon does not make a frame over 59cm? I have been looking for a good quality American made frame in a 63-65cm size. I know there are several builders that will meet my needs(Rivendell,Waterford, etc.) I was just wondering why BG does not offer the larger sized frames. His bikes look very well thought out and obviously built by someone who cares about his product.

BGs have a sloping top tube and he measures c-c without accounting for where a horizontal top tube would be. Rivendell measures c-t and probably doesn't have as much slope. The upshot is that a 59cm BG is a lot bigger than a 59cm Riv. Send him an email about sizing or wait a while and see if he responds to this thread.

To answer your question - The largest stock Rock n' Road Tour frame is a 59cm. But, it has an upsloping top tube and an upsloping stem. If a 59cm RNR had a level top tube it would be a 63.6cm frame measured center to center. I'm 6'2" with long legs - and I would ride a 56cm. I also do custom frames if that is required.
Any questions - feel free to give me a call

Wow, this forum is awesome. How rare is it to have your question answered by the guy who has his name on the frame. Thanks Bruce, I will be calling you soon.
