Wonderful.... Great pics, you have a great eye, and your commentary is outstanding. I know that if I tried doing 130km a day I'd die on that diet, but then again, if I lost 5 kilos I'd weigh less than I did when I was 18, and that was a while ago.
I especially loved the turtle image, would like to know if I can take a copy of that for my use? I also enjoyed you telling people that you were doing the ride as penance for grave sins.
very nice,
Steve W.

Thank you Steve, thank you for your so nice words! OF COURSE YOU CAN USE THIS NICE PHOTO WITH THE TURTLE! 6 years ago I copied it, I do not remember where I took it from.
Last winter I added maybe 18 kilos, never mind I always follow a diet, not so strict, but a diet. So in the summer I had to lose all that. Summer time it is easier for me, maybe I need only 3-4 days to turn to a life without much meals.
It seems, it is understandable about my sins and imposed by the priest bicycling , I was afraid, I can not explain it by my poor English. Oh, people do not need the true, in most cases when you speak the true it does not work

Sounds like an intersting way to turn days into weeks. I did 150 miles in one day--from Morro Bay to Carpenteria (long time ago)--on the third day and last day of a mini-tour. It took me a lot longer than 14 hours. A very nice accomplishment, especially with such a heavy machine.

Oh yes! I love these endless days! But to bicycle 150 miles - it is not in my possibilities! The longest my distance was 110 miles.
Yes, I produced the special frame - it lock my bag to the bike frame - simple and inexpensive (free I can say) device. It is not easy in my country to find out bike accessories. Or all that is so expensive …. So, most things I need I do myself
Have many many miles bicycling without any troubles WAGATHON !!!

This is inspiring stuff. Such pretty pictures! I think I'm going to buid up my old road frame and ride to to northern Cal from L.A. That way, it would get prettier as I ride.
